Memorable Carmen Electra Movies

Carmen Electra was never known to take on lead roles in movies. However, despite this, she has managed to catch the viewers’ attention, a lot having to do with her charisma, figure and alluring looks on the big screen. She has done quite a number of movies, ranging from action to comedy. While she made most of her acting on the television sitcoms that included Baywatch and some appearances in shows like The Simpsons and The Drew Carrey Show, Carmen never really landed a stellar role in which she was placed in a lead role for a movie production. Just the same, her portrayal in such movies that included the Scary Movie sequels, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Starsky and Hutch, and My Boss’ Daughter gave her the proper exposure that have been memorable performances. Although most roles were not marquee roles wherein Carmen would get her big break, the impact that she made in the minimal exposure and roles in movies are more than enough to build on the building block of her acting career. Playing as the wife of Eugene Levy in the sequel Cheaper by the Dozen 2, it was a mix of trying to become a step mother to a family that was lured into an intense rivalry and competition with that of Steve Martin’s family. While she looked more of a sexy woman out to get the money and inheritance of the rich dad looking for a woman to fill the space left by a former wife, her role was not readily defined and the only best ting to be remembered is Carmen Electra showing off her assets which were actually carrying factors that got her noticed on screen. In the 1970’s remake of Starsky and Hutch, she played a cheerleader where the usual need to have a certain twist of girls in the movie was a requirement. Aside from the movie not having much to do with petty love affairs and romance, the absence of subplot romantic affairs provided the female stars lesser roles to portray and lay focused on Carmen Electra and Amy Smart.

Finally, in one of the movies that was never expected to make an impact due to its spoofing bits, Carmen’s participation in the Scary Movie sequels were not as serious but memorable and has made her attached to the spoofs of the movie. As it seems, Carmen has taken on roles that play more on action packed to comedy filled movies that have not really been giving her the needed breaks she needs. Perhaps if Carmen would finally make a choice on what level of acting, drama, action or sexy roles, then one of them can finally give her the break she needed so that all her time and investment in acting can finally be realized and come true.
